I would rather lie. Why? Because I dont really want to know about other people. I mean seriously I don't really want to know about other peoples secrets. Even more if somebody asks me a question with an embarrassing answer I can lie.

Most confusing day ever! They chose me to be the receiver of memories! I don't even know what that is. I feel a little better but I'm still pretty scared since they mentioned the great physical pain I had to endure. I have to be brave though, after all I was chosen.

Psych pilot episode

On Friday for our mystery unit we watched the pilot episode of Psych. It is about a guy named Shawn Spencer who can notice and remember things really well. In the pilot episode the son of a rich family has been kidnapped along with his dog. But things soon get more complicated but I,m not going to spoil it for you.

Now how many elements of a mystery were there. Well there was a protagonist, an antagonist, a red herring, there was a witness, there were clues, evidence, and an ending that will surprise you. This is a pretty good episode and now I think I will be collecting the DVDs of it. But I still think the best crime show is Monk.

Crime is an illegal act that a detective have to solve like how that person is stealing that car in the picture.

Suspect is the person they think did the crime and sometimes there are more than 1 like in the picture on the right

Detectives are the people that solve the crime like in the picture a detective is looking closely at something.

Evidence is proof that that guy did the crime like those bullets in the evidence bag.

Monk voodoo episode

Today in class for our mystery subject we watched an episode from monk to learn the elements of a mystery. Turns out that episode had all the elements apart from a witness mysteries do not need witnesses sometimes. Also the ending was quite surprising as you think its this guy and in the last minute its someone who you least expect it to be. This episode was quite good but I have seen better episodes of Monk.

Plastiki

Plastiki is a boat that is made mostly out of plastic to draw attention to all of the plastic waste in the ocean. The plan of the plastiki is that it will sail from San Francisco to australia.

I think the plastiki is an amazing achievment since the boat is nearly made completely out of plastic. Its also really amazing the rest of the boat is made out of other materials that can be recycled.

There is actually a cause also. Its not like somebody was just bored and decided to make this. This is to draw attention of how carelessly we throw plastic. Even more the plastiki is going to sail through that huge plastic mass in the ocean about twice the size of texas, the second biggest state in the US.

Hello everyone. Today I am going to tell anybody that is reading this 10 words I learned in school.

1. Mildew. Mildew is a type of fungus that goes on cloth when it is damp and cold.

2. Out of the blue. Basically it means random.

3. Hesitantly. Hesitantly is when you kind of like stumble on your words or hesitate to make a choice.

4. Hatch. A door on the floor, usually on ships.

5. Orientation. Recognize your surroundings or figure out where you are.

6. Chateu. A luxurious big house with nice land.

7. Thunderous. A booming voice.

8. Contradiction. Disagreeing, usually it triggers the start of an argument.

9. Faults. Something that is wrong.

10. Preserve. Kept fresh and safe for things like food. Save for cultures.

You know whats kind of weird. Chateu is a french word and we learnt it in english class.

Why Haiti is in a bad state before the earthquake.

1. Political violence.

2. Originated from slaves who over threw the Spanish but left with very little money.

3. People mostly working in farms prone to natural disasters.

4. Lots of smuggling and drug distribution.

5. Not much police.

6. Aids which results in lower life expectancy.

7. High risk of diseases like malaria or hepatitis.

So far the situation in Haiti is still bad. At least its gotten a little better since last week. Now more people are getting aid from other countries but it seems that there has been some problems in the airports since there are to many planes flying in to Haiti. Even more there are still so many dead bodies around that the locals have to put orange peels up their nostrils. Now there are about 380,000 orphaned children. Picture on right shows a man with what looks like a broken jaw.

Fatal earthquake in Haiti.

As you know recently there has been a really tragic event on a nation that already has enough problems before a huge earthquake killed as what people estimate in the hundreds of thousands. Most of the population is now homeless caked in dust. More than 1/3 of the whole population is has injury from as minor as cuts to as major as missing limbs. Even the presidents homeless. Buildings are wrecked and people are trapped in the rubble. Thankfully though a handful of country's have come to their aid. China has agreed to send in 1 million dollars worth of supply's and America has also agreed to help along with other country's. As you can see on the picture above there are homeless and injured people.

The lakers game at christmas day

For Christmas I went to the lakers game. They were facing the cavaliers. The stadium was really crowded and full of spectators. Everyone was exited. To bad we missed the first quarter since we were half an hour late and the lakers were behind but the lakers game was still really exiting. They were facing the cavaliers. During the game people were shouting and cursing because of a technical foul. In the end though te cavaliers though and at the end people were shouting angrily since they wanted the lakers to win since we were in L.A.
